Vert-X provided the structural design for 14 Kāinga Ora units in Palmerston North. These two-storey home were completed August 2024 with architects Isthmus and builder Isles Construction Ltd. We designed RibRaft floors, wall bracing and structural steel portals where the layouts required them, and ran value engineering throughout the project, working back through the structure to take cost out without losing capacity and reducing the wall bracing the units needed.
